"Recipient since 1999 Achievement of Excellence In Procurement"
The Achievement of Excellence In Procurement award is presented by the National Purchasing Institute to organizations that demonstrate excellence in procurement by obtaining a minimum score on a rating of standardized criteria. The criteria are designed to measure innovation, professionalism, productivity, and leadership attributes of the procurement organization.

The primary mission of this Division is to provide goods, services, and professional staff support to all Salt Lake County agencies, allowing each agency the opportunity to perform their responsibilities to the citizens of this county by achieving the best value in a timely and efficient manner. To successfully achieve this goal, it is critical to foster an environment of fair and open competition in all dealings.
