10 Year Recipient
The Achievement of Excellence In Procurement award is presented by the National Purchasing Institute to organizations that demonstrate excellence in procurement by obtaining a minimum score on a rating of standardized criteria. The criteria are designed to measure innovation, professionalism, productivity, and leadership attributes of the procurement organization.

Our primary mission is to procure goods and services while providing professional purchasing support to all Salt Lake County agencies. This enhances each agency’s ability to perform their responsibilities to the citizens of this County. Our focus is to acquire goods and services at the best value in a timely and efficient manner while promoting environmental accountability. To successfully achieve this, we foster fair and open competition in all dealings with the vendor community.
